They are like cactus with four edges, the ones are slightly dull, the ones are thick, soft, smooth and green.Flowers are solitary or in clusters;Pedicels are 2-3 cm long;Flowers are 3-5 cm in diameter;Corolla radiates pentagonal, outside green, smooth, inside yellowish green, uneven, with dark purple horizontal stripes and spots, corolla tube short, lobes triangular ovoid, tip short, edge lashes;The corolla is doublet, borne on gynoecium, outer helmet-shaped, pale yellow, with lavender brown spots, inner corolla 5-lobulated, 2 lobulated at each end;Pollen masses are 1 per compartment, erect, with a transparent membrane on the inner margin.
