Catharanthus Roseus (L.) Don is a perennial herb. The stem is erect, much branched. Leaves are opposite, long elliptic, petiole short, entire, glabrous on both surfaces, main veins distinctly white. The cymes are terminal. Flowers are rose-red, corolla butterfly - shaped, 5-lobed, flowers with dark holes in the center. The plant height is 30 cm -50 cm, leaves long oval, dark green lustrous. Flowers are axillary, corolla saucer-shaped, 5-lobed, spreading and open, fan leaf arrangement, flowers 3-4 cm in diameter, white, pink or purplish red.
