Eupatorium Fortunei Turcz is a perennial herb, 40-100 cm high. Rhizome is transverse, reddish brown. The stem is erect, green or reddish purple, basal stem up to 0.5 cm, sparsely branched or only at stem apex with corymbose branches. Stem branches are sparsely pubescent, inflorescence branching and densely hairy on peduncle. The middle stem and leaf were large, trisha closed or triseclosed, with a total petiole length of 0.7-1 cm. Middle lobes are larger, elliptic or elliptical or oblateolate, 5-10 cm long, 1.5-2.5 cm wide, apical acuminate, lateral lobes homomorphic with middle lobes but smaller, upper stems and leaves often not divided. Stem or leaves are undivided, lanceolate or long elliptic-lanceolate or oblong, 6-12 cm long, 2.5-4.5 cm wide, petiole 1-1.5 cm long.

All stems and leaves of Bluegrass are smooth, glabrous without glandular points, pinnate veins, margin coarsely toothed or irregularly toothed. Stems and leaves under the middle are gradually smaller, base leaf flowering wilt. Most head inflorescence forms compound corymbose inflorescence 3-6 (10) cm in diameter at stem tip and branch end. Involucral bracts are campanulate, 6 -- 7 mm. Involucral bracts 2-3, imbricate, outer layer short, ovate-lanceolate, middle inner bracts gradually long, ca. 7 mm, long elliptic. Bracts are purplish red, glabrous without glandular spots, apex obtuse. Flowers are white or reddish, corolla ca. 5 mm long, without glandular spots outside. Achenes are dark brown, oblong, 5-ribbed, 3-4 mm long, glabrous without glandular spots. Crown hair is white, ca. 5 mm long. The flowering period is July - November.
